This Tiny Yet Robust 3-Wheeled Electric Car Goes from Zero to 60mph in 10 Seconds

This is the Solo by ElectraMeccanica, a three-wheeled 100% electric car that can go from zero to 60mph. This sleek single-passenger car can also reach a top speed of 80mph. Its range is 100 miles and it’s charge time is 2 1/2 hours. Given that so many commuters commute alone in one regular fuel-driven vehicle, this is a perfect option to lessen your carbon footprint.

The Solo is powered by a 17.3 kWh NCA Battery that’s liquid-cooled. Super versatile, this little electric beast is compatible with charging stations everywhere. Free public charging stations can be found at malls, parking lots, etc. Charging stations at home are easily installed and are cost-effective.

This futuristic electric car also has 99% fewer parts than a combustion engine, and therefore is less likely to encounter typical auto problems, or need unexpected maintenance. Other features of this “vegan-friendly vehicle” include a heated seat, a Bluetooth stereo, and a rear-view camera.
