This is the Guardian XO by Utah-based robotics company Sarcos. It’s “a full-body exoskeleton and a battery-powered industrial robot that merges human intelligence, instinct, and judgment with the power, endurance, and precision of machines.” Plus, it makes the job easier by allowing a human to safely lift heavy weights.
The Guardian XO “expands the limits of human potential” by making heavy-duty tasks seem simple by giving the operator a superhero-like strength to safely lift and manipulate up to 200 pounds (90 kilograms) without fatigue or strain. The operator can freely move, which can help boost productivity and greatly reduces injuries.

Thanks to its full-body, powered-design, there is a reduction in the operator’s metabolic output and physical strain. This is due to its ability to offload 100% of the exoskeleton’s weight during use. The Guardian XO is reportedly equipped with roughly three computer servers that enable it to capture and analyze the data acquired by the exoskeleton’s 125 onboard sensors.
