This is the Kiwibot, a “delivery nurse/doctor” that delivers face masks, hand sanitizer, toiletries, bottled water, charging packs, as well as groceries, snacks, and hot meals, among other necessities. Using the Kiwibot app, you can order your supplies without leaving your home, which in turn helps mitigate Coronavirus.
A fleet of Kiwibots has been deployed in the communities of Berkeley and Denver as well as in the developer’s home country of Colombia. It uses a point-to-point delivery system, takes every hygiene precaution, and can be filled autonomously. Kiwibot is also developing a fumigator attachment that can sanitize sizeable spaces with antiviral and UV light.
