This ‘Mini Scuba Tank’ with a Hand Pump Lets You Swim Freely for Up to 12 Minutes

This is the Karbones Mini Scuba Tank by a French company that wants to give its customers “underwater freedom.” Comparable to a large water bottle, the Karbones Mini Scuba Tank comes with a comfortable silicone mouthpiece and a manually refillable hand pump that allows you to swim freely and explore the sea for up to 12 minutes.

The Karbones Mini Scuba Tank recharges in about 15 minutes. The pump has a filter that allows for 20 bottle refills. “The difference between the manual pump and a conventional bicycle pump is its internal design which allows it to rise to a higher pressure,” the company notes.

If you don’t want a manual refill, you can use the Karbones portable high-pressure electric compressor that allows the bottle to be recharged in just 3 minutes. The maximum depth authorized for non-divers is about 10 feet (3 meters but the bottles are tested and functional to up to 164 feet (50 meters).
