This is the eFOLDi, a folding electric scooter, which combines the resilience and range of a mobility vehicle and the impressive lightweight characteristic of an urban transporter. The eFOLDi can be folded into the shape of a suitcase with wheels and it can also be used as a comfy chair.
The eFOLDi was co-invented by Sumi Wang, founder of SunTech UK Ltd, a specialist company that invents, designs and manufactures innovative products. Wang is carrying on her father’s legacy who designed the eFOLDi when he became disabled and wanted more mobility, freedom, and independence.

eFOLDi’s features include a USB charging port, a horn, turning indicators, reversing beeps, and a full lighting system. The eFOLDi travels up to 4mph in slow-speed gear switch, and 8mph in fast speed gear switch – depending on the weather, terrain conditions, angle of the slope, and the weight of the load. The throttle is sensitive to twist, therefore you don’t have to go full-speed by twisting it all the way.
