This Hydroponic Pot Lets You Grow Plants from the Inside Out

This is the Terraplanter, made by a team of plant-loving industrial designers and techies. It’s an aesthetically stunning yet functional planter that grows indoor plants from the inside-out. It doesn’t require soil. Instead, it holds water on the inside and slowly diffuses it outwards, sustaining the plant which sprouts and then fully flourishes on the surface.

This clean and super low-maintenance hydroponic planter was made with city dwellers in mind who are also plant-lovers but may have busy schedules. The 100% natural material of the Terraplanter’s structure is solid, yet porous. Therefore, water is slowly diffused through its cells, giving the plant time to drink, and requires less watering.

The Terraplanter’s plant roots grow successfully on the surface thanks to the constant access to both water and air. Plus, its micro-texture design allows plant roots to grip the surface and fully intertwine with the planter. The Terraplanter also holds seeds on the surface while they sprout.
