This Hydrogen-Powered Flying Car Can Serve as an Air Taxi or an Emergency Response Vehicle

This is the CityHawk, a hydrogen-powered VTOL flying car designed by Urban Aeronautics. It can serve as an air taxi or a private executive flying car and can carry up to six passengers and take-off and land anywhere. Also used in emergency response, it has the capabilities of a helicopter but can reach places that a helicopter can’t access.

Versatile, quiet, and emission-free, the CityHawk also has a spacious cabin. Its minimal footprint allows for more passengers per trip and more arrivals and departures due to the available landing real-estate. Without wings or exposed rotors, the CityHawk is roughly the size of a large SUV. It can travel for 100 miles at a speed of 125mph, which makes it ideal for urban transportation and emergency response.

Whether it’s medical evacuation, search, and rescue, fire-fighting, hurricane and earthquake recovery, or humanitarian relief, the CityHawk can provide assistance regardless of weather or terrain.
