This is the Myosuit by MyoSwiss, an intensive and activity-training device that functions as an “additional layer of muscles, providing strength and stability to the knees, hips, and ankles.” It’s ideal for those with muscle weakness, from older adults to stroke and post-op patients to those with incomplete spinal cord injury, muscle dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injury, and ICUA-acquired weakness.
There is some give-and-take with the Myosuit where the user executes the movements and simultaneously he or she is supported by the device. This is due to its sensors that detect those movements and when support is needed the Myosuit kicks in, just like an e-bike.

This lightweight, mobile, and multifunctional device can also be used for activity-based training that includes strength, endurance, and balance exercises. It is important to note that the user will need a certain amount of muscle function to be able to perform exercises without support (the use of additional mobility aids like a walker, walking sticks, etc.).
