This ship evacuation system can rescue up to 750 people in less than 30 minutes.
The rescue system is called Superslide and it’s developed in the UK by Survitec Group. The marine evacuation system is designed to expedite evacuations on high-speed crafts and small- to medium-sized ferries.

Superslide allows passengers to disembark much more quickly in the event of an emergency and removes the need for lifeboats (including its launch equipment, such as davits), therefore freeing up deck space.
The slide has twin tracks allowing for rapid departure and can clear 750 people in just half an hour. It is suitable for all individuals – including children and those with impaired mobility for a speedy evacuation.
At the bottom of the slide, passengers descent into canopied or open reversible inflatable liferafts that include an easy seating arrangement. These are stored near to evacuation points and launched remotely.
