These custom prostheses are super life-like, high-quality, and individually sculpted, for amputated parts of the body – from fingers, hands, and arms to external ears, feet, legs, and noses. The customization is remarkable as it also includes replicating the look of an amputee’s skin tone, texture, freckles, spots, and nails.
Developed by a Mexican company, Dianceht, the aesthetic prostheses are like plastic, but have a silicone base and won’t dissolve when they come into contact with acetones, alcohol, gasoline, grease, etc. Without the presence of carbon in its structure, aesthetic prostheses are very resistant to high temperatures. Their elastic properties also make them resistant to breaking.

The aesthetic prostheses attach primarily through suction. When a prosthesis is placed over the stump a light vacuum is formed. This makes shaking hands and daily activities possible. Overall, an amputee can achieve aesthetic balance and a sense of comfort and confidence when integrating in society and the workplace.
