This Boat’s Buoyant Superstructure Can Self-Right Itself If It Becomes Capsized

This boat’s buoyant superstructure can self-right itself if it gets capsized.

Built in Ireland by Safehaven Marine, it’s called the ‘Thunder Child’ and it has a self-righting hull that prevents it from capsizing. The boat can cut through huge waves thanks to its wave-piercing monohull.

It was built for the navy at first and can go in a stealth mode to avoid radar detection. It can operate in all weather conditions and has a night-vision camera system.

Thunder Child has a top speed of 62mph with its two Caterpillar 1000 hp engines and even holds a world record. It can carry up to 10 people and comes with shock-proof seating.
