It’s part of Nissan Intelligent Mobility’s Invisible-To-Visible technology to help improve safety for passengers, pedestrians, two-wheelers and other motorists.
It uses information collected from sensors and cloud technology such as real-time traffic analysis to make the surroundings “visible” in the driver’s field of view.
This includes potential hazards hidden behind buildings, and obstacles ahead of a blind corner the driver would not otherwise see without this technology.
Nissan is currently continuing the research and development, with initial forecasting of sometime beyond 2025 for the technology to fully emerge.
