Solar company Renovagen has developed the Rapid Roller portable solar panels that roll out and can generate an average of 11kW of power. The solar panel system is easily transported by rolling in and out of a truck or trailer. It’s so efficient that it can create an off-grid solar power plant in just two minutes and connects to external batteries.
Rapid Roller can also provide power to areas affected by natural disasters or crises where immediate power is needed, such as a mobile hospital. Using just two people, the smaller versions can be installed by hand, but the fastest and easiest way to install a Rapid Roll solar field is by vehicle tow. The entire system can be up and running within a few minutes.

Solar engineers onsite aren’t needed as the Rapid Roller has an innovative modular, resilient electrical architecture, which optimizes the performance of every solar panel. This helps with light conditions due to slope and shading that may occur during installation. The panels can last for up to 10 years.
