NASA-Inspired High-Protein Made Out Of Thin Air Could Feed Billions, Reduce Emissions and Deforestation

Solar Foods created a new high-protein flour-like powder called Solein that’s made out of CO₂, water, and electricity. Made of 50% protein, 5–10% fat, and 20–25% carbs, Solein is reportedly 100 times more climate-friendly than meat and 10 times better than plants. It could also replace palm oil, prevent further deforestation, and feed billions.
