Meet the ‘eROCKIT’ That Works Like a Bicycle but with the Power of a Motorcycle

Germany’s award-winning eROCKIT is a pedal-powered, noiseless, electric motorcycle that uses modern battery technology and runs completely emission-free and is economical in consumption. When its charged with green electricity it’s also considered eco-friendly. Dubbed “the human hybrid,” (man and machine) the e-ROCKIT is clutch-free and adapts to the intuitive pedal control.

This innovative pedal feature is referred to as “muscle power multiplication,” for its use of electronics that register the driver’s muscle power that gives it a huge boost. Pedaling gets the eROCKIT first moving, accelerates it and helps to charge the eROCKIT’s battery. The hand brakes slow you down.

The driver just has to pedal faster and he or she can achieve astounding acceleration at a top speed of 50 mph or 80km/h. Legally, the eROCKIT is a 125cc motorbike and requires a license for that feature of the bike. It can be driven on public streets and freeways.
