It’s designed with sustainability in mind; powered by a graphene-based organic battery made of recyclable materials, interior made from recycled plastics and vegan leather.
The car introduces a biometric connection with the driver, using the oval-shaped controller that pulsates according to the driver’s heart rate and can control the direction of the car.
It has four electric motors and a total system output of 469-horsepower. The vehicle’s 110-kWh battery can be fully charged in just 15 minutes to give a 435-mile range.
The onboard computers can be powered off the solar panels embedded in the “bionic flaps” or scales which can even reflect the driver’s mood to the outside world.
The concept car is created by Mercedes-Benz and Avatar movie director James Cameron with a vision for the vehicle to be more of a creature rather than a car.
